Motion offense
- The offense starts with our ball handler at the top
- The four other players will be in a line at the top of the three point line with the ball handlers/shooters on the wings and our post players at the top of the key

When the guard is starting this offense, he should be reading the top two defenders.
- If they are inside of our top post guys, the play should be run accordingly with a pass to the wing.
- If they "cheat" over to the outside of the top post, the point guard has the option to drive directly to the goal.
If that happens, the wing players (square & triangle) should cut to the goal.
When the ball is passed to one of the wing players (triangle in this example):
- The post player on that side (circle) sets a pick on the top defender
- The post player on the opposite side (diamond) cuts through the lane down to the short corner.
- The opposite wing player (square) and the point guard (X) hold tight while the play progresses.
- The wing with the ball (triangle) has options: He can drive to the basket if it's open, pass the ball to the short corner post player (diamond) or swing the ball back to the point guard (X)

From here we're looking to get the ball in the middle if it's open, or attack by way of dribble if it's not. If neither option is there, we can get the ball back to the point guard (X) and the cycle starts over. The two post players (circle & square) return to their original positions.
Idealy we want to move the ball from side to side 3-5 times each posession. This will move the defense and tire them out.
