Ice (man to man defense)
- The offense starts with our ball handler at the top and is an infrequently used isolation play to get a necessary score on a favorable match-up.
- The four other players will be in a line at the top of the three point line with the ball handlers/shooters on the wings and our post players at the top of the key

When the guard is starting this offense, he should be choosing the side he is most comfortable going.
- He will point to the wing player on that side to let them know to start the play.
The play is started when the designated wing player (square in the example) starts his movement.
- The wing player (square) takes a looping path to the opposite wing.
- The post player on the same side (diamond) takes a similar path, but sets a pick on the weak side wing's defender.
- The post player on the opposide side (circle) hesitates, then times up with the other post (diamond) to arrive to set a pick on the defender simultaneously.
- The point guard now has the entire side of the court (in this case to his right) open to drive.
- As he drives, the point guard has options:
- If that is cut off, he can pass to the cutting wing player (triangle)
- If neither option is open, the other wing player (square) rolls to the top of the offense to get the ball and start a new play.
